|We are launching our first 9:16 short film competition. It is free to enter for anyone aged 16 or over.
We’d like to see your storytelling skills in a short format. You can make it a factual or fictional film – it can be animation or music video, too. Just remember to demonstrate a strong sense of story.

shortlisted films to be shown on Presence website
runners-up: 1-3 months mentorship with us at Presence Team
winner: 3-6 months mentorship with Presence and 1 year of Adobe subscription or equivalent
Rules and Terms
1-3 minutes in duration (excluding titles)
Shoot entirely on a phone and your work must be your own and original.
You may use any editing/post technique (non phone is allowed)
Ensure you have permission to use any visuals or sounds if you have sampled and credit them in your titles
Please get written consent from performers/artists to be shown in screenings and credit them in your titles
Please submit through Film Freeway by 07/01/24

Entrants of all levels and experience.
Age limit: 16 & over.
Subject matter: narrative/story structure (factual or fiction). Music videos and animation accepted if they involve a narrative structure.
Shortlisted films will be shown at the competition award ceremony and online at Presence Team website and relevant social media, subject to entrants clearances. We will not sell your film or pay you for its use.
